just quickly. iv updated wordpress to version 2.8! and the new theme is coming in the next few days when i can find more time. (usuaul excuse). too cold for anything!!

iv had 600 unique vists.. since i the latest time i reset the stats, which i will find out when that was and update.. and also wordpress 2.8 is finaly released, so in the next few days ill update and also put the new theme online, with the option of selecting the old theme still if anyone wants to (for whatever reason). and that is all. another sucessful weeks work done, time for beer and the weekend!

unlike a popular news article about blogs being abandoned, im still here! im just lazy and dont have as much time anymore. give me a chance!

been awhile since iv had the time to check out my own site! been busy working and in my spare time iv dusted off the old playstation 2! giving it a good work out, im suprised its all still working! i could write my name in a few mm think dust coating over the thing! bought some second hand games on the cheap! im having a ball! might even get it modded at some stage, give it a little bit more ooomph. great way to relax playing crappy old games! so thats my current life in a nutshell. might do some work on the site this weekend. i did end up finished an updated theme and might even add a few more plugins and upgrade to the latest wordpress. happy gaming all!

as usual i have installed both XP & vista on my machine again, alls working just dandy, fast and seriously everything is working this time around.. previously XP was as slow as a dog, which i think was caused from a slightly dodgy updated cd i created.. and as for vista, my mic didnt work and there were heaps of graphical glitches.. so this time all i did was slipstream the service packs to both XP / vista install disks and that was it, no tweaking of options and unattended options. basicly vanilla with SP’s on them. working like a charm this time! im happy., hooray.

i finaly got around to playing half-life 2, episode 1, episode 2 from start to finish and its all done! i think ill make the effort and finish bioshock now.. then move onto something else. seeing as i have soo much time on my hands i figure ill finish all the games i havnt yet done. that is if the new Left 4 Dead DLC doesnt take up all of my time! either way ill probably be playing something.,

the RC of jaunty has been released, iv installed the x64 version and so far its working quite nicely. iv also opted to run banshee, which is also quite nice over exaile in its speed of my 100+ GB music collection, which really did slow exaile down alot! but it remains to be seen if banshee can handle it also. so i will run this RC for a little while and see how things go, and i know the final will be out very soon. so this is a good way to test before i even consider killing intrepid.

isnt this a funny and stupid story. our fish take in the front room has a shark in it, it splashed water up into the light above the tank, setting off the surge protector saftey switch! shutting down the server, noone turned it back on as i wasnt home. so a day or 2 with no server, how funny…….? well its back on now and it gave me a chance to install some updates and clean the inside of the case which was just full of dust and dog hair. seems to be running nicely now!

have a look at this . although i cant comment on it personaly, it all sounds like alot of fun to me! and you can catch some interviews and info on good game tonight on abc2. once i have seen it, gone to a gig and actualy experienced it i will write something more! but until then, im digging out all my old fav chip tunes and having a little epileptic(spelling?) fit until i can do it at an actual gig. the olden days were always the best when it came to game music, chip tunes are hella good!
